This article narrates in detail the everyday living conditions of Haitian women engaging in sex work and the dangers of transactional sex in 2021. It describes the increasing need for transactional sex that might create a public health crisis. In the past two decades, Haiti has had more success in the fight against HIV/AIDS than most developing nations. Finally, it documents the efforts of NGOs working with sex workers and the different results of their collaborations. (Summary by Mouka)
