Objectives:
We conducted a mixed methods study of delayed access to emergency obstetrical care among preeclamptic and non-preeclamptic women in Port au Prince, Haiti, grounded in the Three Delays model of Thaddeus and Maine. The primary objectives were to identify factors affecting delays in accessing care and clinical consequences of delays.
Methods:

Objective. To explore the effect of an innovative, integrative program in female sexual reproductive health (SRH) and soccer (or fútbol, in Haitian Creole) in rural Haiti by measuring the rate of births among program participants 15–19 years old and their nonparticipant peers.

This report describes the methods and results of operations research undertaken to assess the effectiveness of World Vision’s maternal and child health1 (MCH) program in the Central Plateau region of Haiti. The research had three main objectives: (1) to assess the effectiveness of implementation and operations of the program relative to plans; (2) to assess the quality of delivery of the various services; and (3) to explore the perceptions of different stakeholders (i.e., beneficiaries and field implementers) regarding the operations and quality of services provided by the program.

This study examined individual, partner, and community characteristics associated with the occurrence of intimate partner violence among ever-married women of reproductive age, using data from the 2000 Haiti Demographic and Health Survey. Separate logistic regressions were analyzed to assess women's risks of experiencing emotional, physical and sexual violence and multiple forms of intimate partner violence in the past 12 months.

This study sought to determine how power and control in intimate relationships influenced women's exposure to sexual violence. Multilevel modeling was used to determine the risk of partner sexual violence in the past 12 months among 2240 women aged 15–49 years who were currently married or cohabiting. The data were drawn from the 2000 Haiti Demographic and Health Survey.

This qualitative evaluation examines the LCSPP-sponsored project, ""Women and Girls in Haiti’s Reconstruction: Assessing and Preventing Gender-Based Violence"". Implemented from September 2011 to September 2012 by two non-governmental organizations, U.S.-based MADRE and Haiti-based KOFAVIV, the project used a human rights-based approach to prevent and respond to gender-based violence.

The pandemic has placed Haiti’s systems under strain and people are experiencing negative impacts of COVID19. Women and vulnerable populations are deeply impacted by the crisis, and to better understand the situation of women, girls men and boys, identify specific needs, analyze the women’s and men’s leadership in the immediate community response, leadership viewpoints and coping strategies in related to COVID-19, CARE and ONU Femmes conducted a joint Rapid Gender Analysis in Haiti from May through September 2020.

Suite à la propagation de la pandémie de la COVID-19 en Haïti qui a fait, jusqu’au 11 juillet 2020, 6727 cas de contamination et 139 morts, la population haïtienne, comme cela se passe au niveau mondial, est en train de subir les diverses conséquences de cette crise.
Certainement, celles-ci ne sont pas les mêmes partout dans le monde. Elles changent avec la réalité socioéconomique des pays.

Si l’égalité des sexes est une condition sine qua non de développement, la définition d’un partenariat entre les hommes et les femmes est également un moyen indispensable pour obtenir des résultats palpables dans les différents secteurs, qu’ils soient politique, économique, social ou environnemental.
